Tugboat History

History events are categorized by event name. Below is a list of these names and the context in which they can be found.

  • activity - These events are logged any time an action is performed that results in a change of data in some way. Examples include creating a project or resetting a preview. The data in these events include the Key ID that performed the activity, the name of the activity, and optionally the result.

  • state - These events are logged any time an object changes state. Examples include a preview changing from "ready" to "stopped", or a service changing from "committing" to "ready". The data in these events is simply the new state of the object.

Statistics

The following history events are data points that can be used to calculate various statistics.

  • commit-time - How long it took for an object to commit, in seconds.

  • commit-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to commit, in seconds.

  • create-time - How long it took for an object to create, in seconds.

  • create-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to create, in seconds.

  • refresh-time - How long it took for an object to refresh, in seconds.

  • refresh-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to refresh, in seconds.

  • reset-time - How long it took for an object to reset, in seconds.

  • reset-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to reset, in seconds.

  • start-time - How long it took for an object to start, in seconds.

  • start-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to start, in seconds.

  • stop-time - How long it took for an object to stop, in seconds.

  • stop-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to stop, in seconds.

  • suspend-time - How long it took for an object to suspend, in seconds.

  • suspend-fail-time - How long it took for an object to fail to suspend, in seconds.

  • project-size - The current size of a project, recorded every time the project size is recalculated.

  • repo-size - The current size of a repo, recorded every time the repo size is recalculated.

  • preview-size - The current size of a preview, recorded every time the preview size is recalculated.

  • service-size - The current size of a service, recorded every time the service size is recalculated.
